SOSIE

Your data

What Sosie holds, and for how long.

Sosie is built on the most personal thing there is: your body and your face. Here is what the product actually does with it, in the order it happens.

This is a plain explanation of how the product works, not a legal privacy notice. A formal notice, with the company details behind Sosie, comes with the public launch.

What builds your double

Your email address, so you can sign in. Sign-in itself is handled by a specialist provider; we never see your password.

Your height, which you type, and the fit basis you choose (women's, men's or no preference) — a sizing choice, never guessed from your photos.

A guided selfie and three full-body photos — front, side, back — taken with your own phone, in fitted clothes.

The measurements estimated from those photos: chest, waist, hips, shoulders, arm, inseam. They are shown to you as estimates and you can correct every one of them.

Your look: skin tone, hair style and colour, eye colour, face shape. Pre-filled from the photos, yours to change.

A confirmation that you are 16 or over. We store the moment you confirmed it, never your date of birth.

Deleted within 24 hours

The raw scan photos. They are stored privately, carry a 24-hour expiry from the moment they are taken, and a nightly job deletes the files and their rows.

Inside that window they are read for one thing only: building your own double. Nobody browses them, and they are never used to train anything.

Kept, and what for

Your turntable: the same body photos with the background removed, so you can turn yourself front, side and back. These cut-outs are private files, reachable only through short-lived signed links, and they stay until you delete your double or your account.

Your fit profile and your look — numbers and colours, no images — because they are what sizes garments and rebuilds your double without asking you to scan again.

The 3D body file itself: a body fitted to your measurements, in a neutral base layer, with a neutral face. You can download it from your avatar page; it is yours. Older versions are removed after 30 days.

If you turned the studio on, the studio portrait made of you is kept privately so your studio can be remade after the scan photos are gone.

AI images are optional

Studio photos of you from every angle, and photos of you wearing a garment, are made by an image model. This only happens if you switch on the choice called “My studio” — it is off until you do.

Those images are processed by Google Cloud in Europe under its data-processing terms, are not used to train anything, and are deleted with your account. Without that choice, your turntable stays the plain cut-outs of your own photos.

Everything else runs on our own servers in Europe: the database and the private files are in Frankfurt, the image and body work on EU machines.

Changing your mind

Every choice is a switch in your profile, and you can turn any of them off at any time. Turning off the studio stops new AI images being made.

Each choice is stored with the exact wording you agreed to, so you can always see what you said yes to.

Deleting everything

“Delete everything” in your profile removes your 3D body files, your turntable frames, any AI images, the studio portrait, any scan photos still inside their window, then your account rows and your sign-in identity.

It happens immediately and nothing is kept for later.
